A new web site has been launched documenting the recollections of Normandy Veterans from the Stockport and District area. Three of the veterans featured on the site come from Marple: John Albert Whaite lived in Marple from 1952; Arthur Moore lived in Marple from 1981; Jack Williams has lived in Marple from 1979.
