A car this week had both doors pinched (Renault Clio) - this in a residential area too.  Not much you can do about that is there - can't put CCTV everywhere. '<img'>

WHEN I SAID ABOUT CCTV HELPING PREVENT THEFTS. ISN'T IT OBVIOUS THAT THE THEFTS DON'T HAPPEN AT JUNCTIONS!! BUT THEY ARE THE ONLY ENTRANCES IN TO MARPLE! SO THEREFORE WHEN THE THEFTS COME IN THEY WILL BE ON TAPE!

Just this week another car had its wheels stolen from the driveway of a house on Seven Stiles Drive. I also heard of another one done just around the corner.

This is becoming a regular occurrence in Marple. Neither was a Ford, unless of course you class a Jaguar as a Ford, which it is really.

However I fail to see how CCTV will help. These thefts are not happening at major junctions.

ONCE AGAIN I AM WRITING TO U ALL, TO STRESS THAT THERE ARE MORE WHEEL THEFTS THAN U REALISE ON FORDS ESPECIALLY!!!
                           DO WE NEED CCTV AT THE BOTTOM OF MARPLE BRIDGE, TOP OF HAWK GREEN AND TOP OF DAN BANK?

          IF THE POLICE CAN'T DO THERE JOBS CCTV WILL HAVE TO DO IT FOR THEM!!!!!

It surprises me that if it was professionals and if they stole the wheels off 3 Cars wouldnt someone have heard something, especially if one of them fell of the bricks not the quietest of jobs to do.

I am just surprised that on a road like seven stiles which is fairly quiet NO ONE heard anything!!

All three cars were found on bricks on Wednesday morning, in the driveways of the owners. However, I understand that one of them had slipped off the bricks, so could have sustained undercar damage.

They had keys to the locking wheelnuts, so were prepared. They even brought their own bricks (nice new unused ones).

They must have had a van or similar, so keep your eyes open, don't be the next victim.
