Changes to refuse and re cycling collection dates over festive period

Stockport residents whose recycling and refuse collection day falls on a Thursday and Friday need to be aware of various changes over the festive period. 
 
 
 
Recycling collection (ie: recycling box and paper sack, garden waste bin and blue wheelie bin) changes are as follows:


Residents scheduled to have recycling collected on Thursday 25th December will have it collected on Thursday 8th January 2009.

Residents scheduled to have recycling collected on Friday 26th December will have it collected on Friday 9th January 2009.

Residents scheduled to have recycling collected on Thursday 1st January 2009 will have it collected on Thursday 15th January 2009.
Refuse collections changes are as follows:


Residents scheduled to have refuse collected on Thursday 25th December will have it collected on Saturday 27th December.

Residents scheduled to have refuse collected on Friday 26th December will it collected on Friday 2nd January 2009.

Residents scheduled to have refuse collected on Thursday January 1st 2009 will have it collected on Thursday 8th January 2009.
The household waste recycling centres in Adswood, Rose Hill, Torkington and Bredbury are also open over the festive period. These sites will be closed on Thursday 25th December and 1st January 2009 but will be open every other day, Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm.
