Marple Food and Drink Festival takes place on Saturday 17 September this year.

The festival is a celebration of our local cafes, bars, shops and businesses held on Market Street and Derby Way.

As well as food and drink stalls the event will once again feature the Make It Marple Artisan Market.

Make It Marple is back: Saturday 19 June on Market Street 10am to 2pm

This is a smaller event due to the present situation, with ten stalls spread out along Market Street.

A great opportunity to see some beautiful local art and craft makers.

Businesses showcasing on the day include:
  • Barkley & Fetch
  • I used to be
  • Scruffy Dogs
  • Little Silver works
  • Kala Walsh Ceramics
  • Kandy Kitchen
  • My Stamp on Art
  • From the Sea by C
  • Svetlana

Message from the organisers of Make It Marple regarding the event scheduled for Saturday 21 March

We have taken the decision to cancel this event.

As the date gets closer, more and more Coronavirus restrictions are being put in place so it is only fair to our traders (especially food producers) to cancel this now before anyone incurs losses.

We hope things will have changed by the time we do our next market on Saturday 16th May.

Thank you for your understanding

MIM team x

This sounds exciting!

A new makers market to showcase Marple's "most marvellous makers and artisans" is beginning in March.

Third Sunday of every month starting March 18th in the Railway Pub Car Park from 11am to 3pm.

Applications for stalls via Twitter @MakeItMarple or their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/makeitmarple/
