"Stockport active" free pedometer

Anybody know why there is nowhere in Marple that you can claim a free pedometer? You can get them from fitness centres in Cheadle Heath, Brinnington, Romiley, Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Heaton Moor but not Marple. It's gonna be a long walk!
