Is it not possible to move the class to either a weekend or an evening as the people who are being targeted will probably be at work?

Just to say, this daytime class has now been renamed "Mature Beginners", due to the fact that we now have new starters in their mid 40's. This class is really open to anyone who wants a "gentler" introduction to Karate training, for any reason. Whether you are in your 40's 50's 60's, 70's or beyond, you are NOT too old to learn Karate. A warm welcome awaits all.

OVER 50's "Mature Beginners" KARATE CLASS
Wednesday Mornings
Marple Bujinkai Karate Club, the longest established Karate Club in Marple, has launched a new class specifically aimed at the over 50's.
This new class which runs on Wednesday mornings from 10-11.00am, is aimed at anyone who THINKS they are too old to learn Karate.
Club instructor Rob Dixon explained, " Most people have the misconception that Karate is all about flashy high kicks, just for young people, or those who are exceptionally fit, and this often puts them off having a go. However, Karate is for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, and it's not uncommon for participants to practice Karate into their 90's !"
This new class will be designed to help keep participants fit and active, through a range of low impact, gentle exercises and drills which will offer the health benefits of tai chi, combined with the self defence techniques of Karate. The class will give people the opportunity to learn amongst other beginners of the same age range. Anybody interested in joining the class should call Rob Dixon on 07973856694, or visit the website at www.marplekarateclub.co.uk
