Stockport is bidding to become a Cycling Demonstration Town. This can bring in a substantial amount to improve cycling conditions in Stockport. Come to the meeting at the Friends Meeting House Cooper St. on the 7th April at 7-30pm and hear what may happen and how cyclists can get involved.

Addition to previous message The meeting is on the 7th April

Cycle Stockport is arranging a meeting for all those who have an interest in cycling. We have already had the Connect2 initiative and now, hopefully, Stockport MBC will be bidding for funding that is available through the Cycling Towns initiative. If you want to know more about cycling in Stockport, then please come along at 7-30pm to the Friends Meeting House, Cooper St, Stockport on Monday 7th April. Amongst others in attendance will be Stockport's Cycling Officer. Don Naylor. If you can't make that, then there is always Stockport MBC's Cycle User Group Meetings, details on their Web Site.
