In the end it was the bottom inside that was a bit loose and the seal had come away slightly..

Got some lovely lads out from
C and G Domestics, Castle Street Edgeley 429 8958
and they spent an age finding out the problem could have diddled me if they wanted but were instead really honest and fixed it with a screwdriver!
Had to get them back this week... they hadnt quite put the door on properly but I hadnt complained as it worked but a couple of weeks ago started leaking through the door.
Had to put up with a very well deserved telling off from a lad old enough to be my son ( but much more polite) as didnt tell them in the first place and also left it 2 weeks so it stunk but it was free and he cleaned it all too!!  Not always easy to find service men that you feel completely comfortable having in your house but these were easy and I'd def recommend them  :)

Thanks Rachael... ill ask alan to check it out

its not too old....3 years possibly

Soapy water keeps pouring out from the back and as our floor is slightly higher than the concrete floor we dont know until most of it has drained out of it

OH has had a go at unblocking it as it happened once b4 3 months ago but it didnt work this time

Is the water staying in the machine and not draining??

How old is your dishwasher, if it isnt a block, it may be the motor.

If it is blocked, its reletively easy to sort.  This happened to ours, the problem lay because a one way valve had been fitted on the out pipe, it was too narrow for waste to pass, once this was removed we had no more problems.
