We now have images of all six paintings on the page on the main site. I particularly like the last one of Roman Bridge!

The Charles Ingham Building Fund, set up to build a permanent home for Marple and Hawk Green Bands in memory of Charlie Ingham, the trombonist who reformed Marple Band in 1963, has received a potential boost to their funds recently.

New Mills Artist Brian Nolan has donated 6 original watercolours to raise money for the fund. For more details and to see some of the paintings that are on sale at the Paladina Art Studio on Stockport Road, go to the main site, or click here.

Have you been wondering what's going on behind the cinema recently. Long term plans to create a permanent home for Marple and Hawk Green Bands have taken the first step on the long road to success. Plans begun in 1986 still have a long way to go though. Read more about it on the main site or click here.

Comments from the local community on this project would be most welcome.
