the new lights at seventeen windows get out of sync with the Dooley Lane lights and it causes traffic to back up in and out of marple. Just wish Stockport would leave things alone sometimes. :(
Oh please dont get me going again  :D

The traffic has always backed up from those traffic lights - I have sat in many a queue there, and I am talking eight or more years ago!  I agree it hasn't improved, but I don't thing it is much worse!

I don't know what's causing it but I've certainly noticed it the last 3 or 4 days. Usually if I leave work (Cheadle Royal) at 4pm I'm home before 4.30pm but it's been nearer 5pm this week and it's all down to congestion approaching Dan Bank (from any direction it seems) :'(

What is going on? The traffic in and out of Marple is terrible lately. The last three days have been awful as I know of, especially from 3pm onwards. I usually travel from Hazel Grove via Torkington Bends and will again in future. I needed to go on to Bredbury instead of Marple. Does anyone know how long this has been going on? or why? Or could it be miss marple with her hilarious threat of one finger action? Seriously does anyone know?
