A property on Marple Hall Dr. was broken into on Tuesday 14-9-21 in the late evening. The perpetrators were attempting to steal the car keys of the vehicles parked on the drive but were unsuccessful. There were at least 2 who entered through the rear of the property and a driver of a small white car. They were disturbed by neighbours who alerted the police. Police responded quickly but were unable to apprehend them. They are believed to be part of an organised gang who are targeting vehicles in the Stockport area. A similar incident occurred in Cheadle on the same night and a number of other gang members are already in custody. Please be on alert for any unusual activity in your neighbourhood.
