Save the date of Saturday 4th December for Marple Bridge Winter Wonderland.

Plans are underway and more details will be provided in due course.

Road Closure Town Street Marple Bridge 4-12-21

Please be advised, that the Marple Bridge Association has applied to Stockport MBC to close TOWN STREET, MARPLE BRIDGE on 4th DECEMBER 2021 to vehicular traffic from 11.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs for its Christmas Winter Wonderland event.

Diversions will be in place to allow traffic to proceed via Hogarth Road, Constable Drive and Hollins Lane and vice versa. Please allow extra travel time for your journey.

All businesses in Mill Brow, Mellor, Rowarth and New Mills will be open as usual and are fully accessible via the diversions.

Marshals will be on duty on Town Street during the event to assist emergency services, Town Street residents and pedestrians.
