Title: Local Election Results 2021: Marple North and Marple South and High Lane
Post by: admin on May 07, 2021, 06:09:14 AM
Congratulations to @Malcolm Allan and Shan Alexander, newly elected councillors for Marple North and Marple South and High Lane respectively.

It is particularly good news that Cllr Malcolm Allan will be able to continue the great work he has done over the last 5 years.

Here are the results from the Stockport Council web site:

Yes well done to the two Libdem candidates. Achieving 50% of the vote is a real vote of confidence.

Incidentally, I have just noticed that the unsuccessful Conservative candidate in Marple South was Darran Palmer, who stood for UKIP in the 2015 Hazel Grove parliamentary election.
