As many local residents will already be aware, The New Mills, Marple and District Rotary Club have for many years used a Santa Sleigh to tour the district at Christmas collecting money of charity.

2017 saw the first outing of our new sleigh, a popular attraction for local children.

Any local organisation or individual would be very welcome to help us. Your commitment need not be onerous, just one evening during December collecting would really help... several would be even better! If you would like to help, please call President Mike Coleman 07855 666646. We would love to hear from you.
(The above list may be subject to changes – for further Information please call 07855 666646).

An apology from New Mills, Marple and District Rotary!

Late last night the Rotary Club advised the following about the Rose Hill visit scheduled for Monday 9th:

Unfortunately we had organised help for tonight but due to miscommunication that help did not materialise.  Rather than only do a small section of the route with the handful of collectors who we had to hand, we have rearranged the Rose Hill event for Wednesday 18th. We had intended to let you know once it had been rearranged but it has only just been confirmed that the helpers are available next week.

We greatly appreciate the Marple Website pushing this event and the last thing we wanted to do was let anyone down especially the children.

Grateful for any assistance you can give in getting the new date of Wednesday 18th for Rose Hill out there.

Ley Hey this Wednesday 11th is still on.

Yours in Rotary,

New Mills, Marple and District Rotary Club
