Title: Postal vote statement error or oversight?
Post by: corium on April 20, 2018, 05:13:44 PM
Working on the basis one of you will be elected. The postal vote statement assumes everyone has been born in the 20th century in the date of birth declaration yet for the first time, a voter may have been born in the 21st - do they get a different form or has this been an oversight?!

Yes @corium I noticed that too.  Oversight most likely! I've asked.

Have been told by council those born in 2000 automatically get a different date on their declaration

I got the same reply from the elections office.  It's to stop people just writing today's date I suspect.
