Title: Ancestry, Rose Brow & Popular Grove

Hi

I'm currently doing some Ancestry stuff relating to a family who lived on Compstall Road, the various Census documents ( 1851 -1891 ) for that area keep referring to Rose Brow and Popular Grove.

Can anyone help with the precise locations of these places

Thanks for the replies , the house on the Poplar Grove photo is still there but now extended and bay window fitted.

Will look out for a name and date stone when next passing
