Prompted by the combination of some photos of Marple in the snow by @AMurray , some comments from @TomDowseMarpleSouth on Twitter and a @MLHS newsletter, I was reminded of the album on the Virtual Tour featuring snow in the 1940s. As a kid I remember much more snow than we have nowadays but nothing quite like these photos. Imagine the chaos it would cause today!
