A silver Decathlon bicycle has been left upright against the fence immediately adjacent to the Middlewood Way at Wood Lane. It was there, unlocked, as I went out this morning Tues 14.11.2017 at 0915 and was still there when I returned at 1215. The bicycle is in poor condition and is a bit rusty so it may have been simply dumped there but who knows? it may have been stolen. It is now drizzling so I have now placed it in my garage. The police will not take a report of this as a missing item. If you own it please contact me with details: the bike can be identified by a couple of faults which may have led its owner to leave it but these faults could be easily repaired or part replaced but the faults together with the beginnings of a coating of rust may mean that it was taken out of a car boot and dumped there. Please contact me with a description of the model and its faults if you think that it may be yours.
