Title: Bungalow on Strines Road

Does any one know why that bungalow is being taken down this end Strines Road? Not seen any plans for development if that what's happening.

I'm pretty sure this will be the development discussed at Marple AC on 8th March (item 5ii).

Is it just me or ................ do others think that the building that is planned for 12 Strines Road is a monstrosity?

Wont look right with the rest of the Bungalows ,that are on the roadside .

No doubt the rest will be transformed into hideous monstrosities as well now that one has got planning permission.  There is such a shortage of property in Marple that people will do anything to keep in the area.

There were a lot of people at the Area Committee Meeting who didn't like it and felt the same as Lily.

I must say that I like way it looks on the drawings and it will be interesting see if I still like it when it's up.
