Which is your favourite italian restaurant, I like Alfrescoes in Hazel grove, I dont like Dolce vita in Marple, Romanticas is ok, but would like to try somewhere different.

I am told that Alfresco's is fantastic although I have never been.
I will not go to Dolce Vita as they proudly display a notice in the window advising that smoking throughout is permitted.
..not for me

I tend to agree Alan, although I think it is an individual choice to smoke, I hate it when eating a lovely meal to have it ruined by the person on the next table puffing away in my direction.........yuk.

If you have kids, I'd recommend "Conti" in Disley. The kids get their own area in the kitchen where they make their own pizzas - whcih are free with an adult meal.
The adults meals are really great - I'd recommend the Red MUllet.

I agree the Conti in Disley is nice, but I've found it quite difficult to get a table.
Also, because it is great for kids there can be quite a lot of them.
La Romanticas good for a quick meal

And although it's not an Italian, The Edge restaurant, just up from the cinema is very good
