St. Martin's Church, Brabyns Brow, Marple, is participating in the Heritage Open Weekend in September.
The Church - a lovely Arts and Crafts style building with beautiful artefacts - will open from 10.00 to 4.00 on Saturday 10th September and on Sunday 11th in the afternoon. Guides will be on hand, and light refreshments available.
On Saturday at 7.30 there will be a concert of light music by two award winning choirs - Bravura and Cantus - in the church. Tickets £8 (£6 for St. Martin's Heritage Trust Friends) at the door, from members of the Heritage Trust Committee, or from 0161 427 2542. Refreshments are included.

There is now a poster available about the St Martin's Heritage Open Days, plus the news that since the poster went to press the Mellor Archaeological Trust have confirmed that they will also have a display in the Hall alongside the Marple Local History Society and The St Martin's Low Marple Heritage Trust.
