Title: New houses on college site on hibbert lane
Post by: on April 10, 2005, 06:53:28 PM: Today, I was told that the Ridge college on Hibbert lane was to be demolished, and that houses were to be built on the site, and that also that the college on Buxton Lane was to be extended.
Any one know any info?

Post by: Mike in Marple on April 10, 2005, 10:05:26 PM: I've heard the same rumour. Apparently, planning application has been put in to extend the Buxton Lane site, but as yet no applications have been made for the Hibbert Lane site.

Post by: Mike in Marple on April 13, 2005, 01:24:04 PM: Appartently there is a 12 month morretureium on all new domestic planning applications in Marple, so I can't see how there can be any houses on Hibbert Lane, at least not in the immediate future.
