10th August - 11th September: Strines Road, Marple
Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail will be undertaking works to create an access road to the railway embankment, to enable repairs to the railway embankment, on Strines Road, Marple, between the junctions with Brickbridge Road and Plucksbridge Road.
These works will require the use of two-way temporary traffic signals.

Dates seem to have changed again to 28th September - 30th October (might already be in place?). Good bit of traffic calming for Strines Road anyway.
Resurfacing (or should I almost say "surfacing") around the station (Strines) seems to be taking longer than it should too.
