Can you help us excavate some more of Oldknow's Lime Kilns? No experience needed, just a willingness to get involved in this community project. Enjoy the team spirit, local history and anticipation on this expert-led dig, who knows what you might discover!

You are invited to our next community dig at Marple Lime Kiln’s Tramway, on the Recreation ground, fittingly accessed via Oldknow Road!

At the end of the dig we’ll be exploring what’s been uncovered at our Tramway Open Day on 1st November.  With a special guest from the past, this is an event not to be missed! More information on these events and more, plus how to book is on our website, www.oldknows.com
