Title: Marple Ladies' Luncheon Club
Post by: My login is Henrietta on March 27, 2015, 01:45:49 AM
Marple Ladies' Luncheon Club meets four times a year for a friendly two course lunch and a speaker.

Recent speakers have included the first woman mounted police officer in Manchester, a competitor in the Iditarod dog sled race, a local market trader and a flower arranging demonstration. All of them interesting and entertaining.

Our next meeting is on Monday, 11th May and Frances King will be giving a talk entitled "Hope is on the Horizon" about the work of the charity "Mercy Ships" which provide free health care, community development projects, community health education, mental health programs, agriculture projects, and palliative care for terminally ill patients in some of the poorest places in the world with a special emphasis on Africa.

If you would like to join us in May or you just want a bit of information please contact Pam Taylor on 0161 449 9996.
