Marple 150 Poetry competition 2015: Theme - Transport

Open to residents in the STOCKPORT AND HIGH PEAK area ONLY

Adult and under 16 prize - to be presented at the Locks Festival - 5 July 2015.

Prize winning and short listed poems to be displayed in selected Marple shops.

Last date for receipt of entries 15 May 2015 - results early June.

The Marple 150 Poetry Competition has now closed.

It is planned that winning entries will be displayed in local shops in early June, with presentation of prizes at the Marple 150 / Locks Festival on 5 July 2015.

The Marple 150 Poetry Competition Results have now been published.

Joint first prizes:- Dianne Hutchinson and Alison Dowdeswell

Third Prize:- Katherine Lane-Serff

Commended :- Roland Javanaud

The prizes will be presented at the Locks Festival on July 5th. Thanks to all who entered.
