Title: Real Lives: Marple and the First World War

Poetry, music and readings of the period to commemorate the day exactly 100 years ago that the First World War started.
Marple Library (upstairs room).
Monday 4 August from 4.30 to 5.30 pm
Admission FREE (Not suitable for young children)
Refreshments provided
This event will also launch an exhibition in the library about how the people of Marple responded to the outbreak of WW1

The Real Lives Exhibition is on in Marple Library until 23 August and is well worth a visit. Here are a few photos:
