Title: Co-op used as film set
Post by: Mr Marple on June 22, 2014, 09:38:15 PM
Either the co-op are being used for a film set or someones left professional kit at the co-ops front door entrance.

A famous person has been seen in the store over the last month talking to other people, a small group, implying a possible production or just fans saying hi, can I get your autograph please?

If filming is happening does anyone have more info?

So that's who they are.

Must be a big production with such big mobile rooms and taking up so much space.

I assume that the same techniques will be used in the filming and editing as was used in series 1, in which case I am very unlikely to watch it. In the majority of the scenes a large part of the image was out of focus, it could be the foreground although it was more often the background. There is, of course, a place for narrow depth of field in filming but that particular focal technique was much abused in this series, to the extent that it became a significant annoyance. A few examples can be found in   http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0174knp   (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0174knp)

They were actually filming for a new series called "Banana" that will be shown on E4, its a companion series to "Cucumber" on Channel 4 written by Russell T Davies.
I only know this as they were filming in my house over the weekend too.
