Title: Tree down near The Railway Pub?
Post by: admin on February 06, 2014, 06:16:50 AM
Heard rumours this morning that there's a tree down on Stockport Road near the Railway Pub.

Don't know if it's blocking the road but maybe worth a detour!

Obviously a rubbish source or a very small tree as there was no sign of one down walking back from the school run this morning!

There were a couple of trucks and a chipping machine just past Railway Road at 6:30 this morning.
They must have cleared up and moved on before the school run !

The tree on Stockport road is down and being cut to transport. Shopping in Greggs today they said an eye witness saw it happen today around this afternoon. Time wasn't specified but I do hope they plant another tree as a replacement.

Being more specific, the two trees outside of Barclays in central Marple.

It's taken nearly a year, but a new tree has recently been planted!

Why did they leaf it so long, we've been pining for a replacement.

Stumped as to why it's taken a year.

Anyway, thank yew SMBC.
