Title: Memories of Mrs Barlow and Woodville Hall in 1939
Post by: admin on September 27, 2013, 10:12:11 AM
87 year old Vera Linihan got in touch recently about her recollections of being evacuated to Marple in 1939. Vera was lucky enough to stay at Woodville Hall with Mrs Mary Barlow and her family. She has fond memories of her stay and kindly agreed to write down some of the details for a new article that is now on on the heritage section of the main site: www.marple-uk.com/heritage (http://www.marple-uk.com/heritage)

You can also access it from the home page at the moment: www.marple-uk.com/Marple.htm (http://www.marple-uk.com/Marple.htm)
