 The house I was in the process of buying on Norbury avenue has been sold to someone else right under my nose.
The deal was just about to be finalised before my wedding in 3 weeks. Damn!
I still really want to move to Marple.
I know it's a long shot but if anyone is selling up or knows someone who is about to - I would love to hear about it!
I'm looking for min 3 beds with garage upto £200k
I constantly check with local estate agents, but there isn't much around anymore and anything decent gets snapped up very quickly - so any insider knowledge would be very welcome Â

I'm sorry that nobody seems to have been able to give you any inside track information but hope that you'll eventually be successful in your wish to move to Marple.
Let us know how the wedding went / goes and what happens with your search for a home.

We have just found a new house - hopefully (nothing is certain until contracts are exchanged - as I know from experience)
It is not in Marple, but in Hazel Grove (Near the Summer Palace) It is a great place and wouldn't have been able to afford similar in Marple.
As much as I wanted to move to Marple, the area i'm moving to is good and there is plenty to do.
So I suppose I had better find a similar website to post to in Hazel Grove Â
