Hi
I have found out that my grandmother and her second husband ran the Liberal Club for some years - possibly between about 1912 and 1940, though I'm not sure for how long. They were George and Lizzie Frost.
Does anybody have any information about the club around these times?
Would they have lived on the premises?
I have seen the old photographs on this site (in fact I remember it from when I was a child in Marple), and the sign in the Ring O' Bells.
