Title: Mystery BT Text message
Post by: alan@marple on January 11, 2012, 12:31:33 PM
07624812084

I am frequently receiving a text message from the above number. It gives messages such as

"School meal money is due today"
or a religious theme

this morning it was

"Please do not park in the staff car park but use the parking area at K2"
I do believe that the calls are for a " Shirley Sutton" who previously had my phone no.

Does K2 mean anything to any parent who might take children to school, If I can trace the school, I can deal with it.

Many thanks in anticipation!

Text the number Alan, and ask for the number to be deleted from their records as you are not the person they are trying to contact. Most schools now run a information service via text to inform parents instead of sending out letters, I get them all the time from Marple Hall. Hope this helps :)

I might be wrong but there is a soft play centre in Stockport called K2 near the bus station and i think there is a school near by . Like i say i might be wrong . The number will not be recognised as it will be a parent call number which is only for outgoing txts not incoming . Hope this helps

Simpleton and all who replied.

Thanks for the help, with all your advice combined, I have traced my 7.30am Text Alarm call.
and asked them to stop waking me up.

Trouble is Alan do you know where the previous owner of the number lived, she could have been from John O groats or Lands end???
