Title: Brabyns Park entrance on Brabyns Brow
Post by: Osdog on December 04, 2003, 10:25:58 AM
I see the pavement has been altered at the junction of Brabyns Brow, and the park road entrance.  Some good bits here, but some not so.  They put railings round the corner (good), but moved the dropped pavement further along, and put the 'bobbly' bits in.

What happens ?  The people who collect their kids from Ludworth (usually) park and block the dropped pavement section.  It's bad enough if you have to take a pram accross now, but heaven help anyone who uses a wheelchair.  There is never enough room for one to get between the parked cars.  So you have to go right down the road, to get through, and then back up the other side.

Solution - double yellows on the railings side of the road - or - and even easier - one bollard next to the dropped pavement to stop car doors opening...........

Any thoughts anyone........
