Walks Round Victorian Marple at 10am and 2pm
Marple as we know it did not exist until 1832. Come and find out why and see what’s happened since, with local historian, Judith Wilshaw. Start 10am and 2pm.
Gathering point: outside The Pineapple Pub at the top of Market Street 10 minutes before start time.
Each walk will be similar, and take 1½-2 hours, but at a slow pace with lots of stops to look at points of interest. No booking required and no charge. Just choose the time that suits you.
Wheelchairs welcome.
Comfortable footwear, and weatherproof clothing essential.
