Title: Remand Centre in Lower Fold / Marple Bridge area?

Has anyone heard of a Remand Home for evacuees in the Lower Fold / Marple Bridge area, where evacuees would have gone to St Marys RC School whilst they were there? This is approximately 70 years ago. We are trying to trace the memories of an evacuee from Gurnsey during WW2.
