Title: Public Inconveniences....
Post by: Dave on December 14, 2008, 04:08:59 PM
Showing my support for local businesses on Saturday afternon by doing my Christmas shopping in Marple, I felt the call of nature as I wandered up Market Street (well it was quite cold.....)

No problem, or so I fondly imagined.  I turned along Derby Way and strolled across to the public loos in the car park.  And what do you think?  They were locked!  At 4.00 on a Saturday afternooon, two weeks before Christmas!   I couldn't believe it!  No wonder people do their shopping in M&S or John Lewis - at least you know you can have a pee when you need one!    >:(

You're right Mark - they have still got them.  They used to be on the left as you walked in, but now they are near the tills.   ::)
