Title: PEACEFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
Post by: admin on April 11, 2008, 06:52:42 PM
Peacefield Primary School in Marple is looking forward to celebrating 50 years of being part of the community and teaching its children.

The school first opened its doors in September 1958, and it is already planning a number of events to mark the big day.

Students past and present will be invited to the school for a celebration in September.

As part of the events children at the school will learn about the changes in education, society and lifestyle across the last 50 years.

The events will culminate in a Gala Day in September. Headteacher Mrs Gill is looking forward to meeting pupils old and new, “It is a great achievement for Peacefield Primary School, and we are all really excited about the forthcoming events”.

If you attended Peacefield Primary school they would love to hear from you, please contact Mrs Jan Clayton on 0161 427 3073.
