Hi Oprah and daughter
Are you meaning the water near Strines?
If so it belongs to Tootals Fishing Club. The club has two waters. Newton Bank in Hyde and Strines Lodges
The club meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Bowling Green Public House, Crown Point Denton. Membership is in the region of:
New Members £31
Senior Members £26
Disabled Members £14
Senior Citizen Members £12
(Senior citizens joining will pay first year as a new member and subsequent years as senior citizens)
I am not sure if they offer day tickets.
The Club Secetary was Mrs Angela Percival 0161 430 7024 - who used to ask people to phone after 6pm.
Keep on with the fascinating exchange - when do we hear from Dad? This is better than a night at the opera!
-
Thanks water rat, i dont think he means strines because he used to be a member of there. i think he means one further up on the way into new mills. not sure though cause i dont get told anything.
-

-
right eeyore21 dont you start on me... after speaking to my mother at dinner, i now know that he wants to become a member of strines again and that the fishing water that he wants to know about is further up on the main road into new mills.
-
Going for three pages ......
Are we talking about the pool just on the left before the road bridge across the Goyt after Strines as you are walking, running, jogging, hopping away from Marple?
-
Not sure, will let my mum answer that one tonight.
