Title: Parakeet spotted

Today saw a Parakeet in entrance to woods at Marple Hall. Anyone else spotted one?

I think there are one or two in the grounds of Offerton High School.  Some unusual bird sounds and flashes of green.  Need to take my binoculars!

Heard people discussing them when in Romiley Aldi about two weeks ago.  They are in several places apparently.

A number of years ago they were very prevalent in London parks and other area's of the south east so by now I see no reason why they should not slowly move north.
