Title: Saturday Night Rappeer

Last night (Saturday) - there was a party going on somewhere.....the noise was pretty hideous, but you think - hey - it doesn't happen often.......

Went for my evening stroll at about 11.30pm and the noise (sounded like a demented rapper) with some 'is this the way to Amarillo' thrown in - seemed to be coming from the Marple / Mellor direction......now I'm in Marple Bridge, and the sound seemed to be coming from a pretty long way away.

At 2.30 in the morning - I shut all the windows so I could get to sleep.

This isn't a moan - cos it really does NOT happen very often - but a query - does anyone know where / what the party was..and how many million decibels were generated.....

It was at Mellor Sports Club.  If it kept you awake in Marple Bridge it must have been pretty loud!    The Sports Club is a bit of a nuisance on occasion - the annual summer ball is notorious for the noise it gives off!
