Title: Guess the Sweets & Hamper Raffle in Asda [19 December 2015]

Following cancellation of the the Christmas Cracker Friends of the Park have been left with a big jar of sweets and a large Christmas Hamper that we didn't know what to do with.

Thanks to Asda Marple's Community Life Champion we are going to be in the store on Saturday 19th December all day running our Guess the Sweets competition and Giant Hamper Raffle that we couldn't do at Marple Christmas Cracker.

If you want to help for an hour or two, please get in touch. Or just come along, say hello and buy a ticket!

Bought my raffle ticket but forgot to ask - when is it being drawn?

It was drawn by an Asda Colleague at around 4.30pm this afternoon. The winning ticket was green 168 and we've made contact with the winner. We'll try to get a photo of her with the hamper.

We raised over £450 for the skatepark and we'll confirm all the details tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone for your support today, it was good to make up for missing out on the Christmas Cracker.

£458.38 was raised by the Guess the Sweets and Hamper Raffle yesterday.

Winner of the hamper was a lady called Jane Wild, winner of the Guess the Sweets was Joshua Hammersley, whose guess of 256 was just one below the answer of 257.

The Skatepark Project page has been updated with new totals from yesterday in Asda plus other recent activities:

Don't forget that you can still drop tokens in our box in the "Chosen by you…given by us..." scheme at the Marple Store too!
