Hi all,
I'm working on a programme for BBC One that will be broadcast for the Queen's 90th birthday next year.
I am looking for people who have met the Queen before that can share their encounter with me for our documentary.
One of the features we would like to include is when the Queen visited Marple in 1968 to open the Possett bridge. Hundreds of people lined the canal that day to greet the Queen, and some even met her. http://visitmarple.co.uk/photos/thumbnails.php?album=69 (http://visitmarple.co.uk/photos/thumbnails.php?album=69)
I would love to hear from anyone who was there that day and had an encounter with the Queen and would be interested in being featured in this documentary.
I'd be grateful if you could please get in touch to have a chat about your experience.
Many thanks,
Lorraine
