No absolutely local but I used C&G Domestics in Edgely for a Microwave and an oven repair:

David Wood in Glossop employs a Marple chap I know to repair washing machines.

Another thumbs up for Dave Wood in Glossop. Came out to fix our broken washing machine. Diagnosed the problem, fixed it, all for a good price.

No. My washing machine broke last week.   ;D

I used the old post to seek out recommendations, chose a contact and was pleased with the results. I decided to pass on my good fortune.

Isn't that how this bit of the forum is supposed to work?
