Can anybody help please, I frequently get the below screen flasing up, it does not seem to affect my computer, although I do often get a double screen when I search for a site,
I am loath to start messing about in case I wreck it.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Run DLL
There was a problem starting
C:\User\ALAN\App Data\Local\PLAYTO~1\Updater.dll

Google the exact error message, minus the Alan bit, you'll find the resolution from lots of people who've had the same problem

In case you do find the choice of Google results too broad, here is a nice article (http://www.5starsupport.com/) about the free support available via friendly moderators that are available for most of the queries - I used their service when my laptop crashed two weeks before the final paper submission (ah, university years) and I was able to recover the majority of the work I thought was lost at the time.
