Title: Is there a Marple Photography Club?

Can anyone tell me if there is a photography club in Marple, and if so details of where it meets, when, membership details, etc.

Depends on how old you are but the university of the 3rd age (mellor branch) runs various courses and I think one of them is photography.

Don't know much about u3a apart from the fact that both the marple and mellor branched are extremely popular and in some cases oversubscribed - but there is a website which I am sure some other visitors to this site will be happy to supply the web adddress to.

These oldies have far too much time on their hands  :D  :D  
(I am going to get in so much trouble for that last comment!;)

Thanks for the info everyone.  

Seems very mysterious ! I found that it is called "85 Group Photography" (bless the internet and Google!;), but I can find nothing else, no contact details, etc, etc!

Does anybody know of any further afield, Romiley, Poynton, Stockport, etc?

Thanks for that, unfortunately I think I land somewhere between 1st and 2nd age, and whilst I wish retirement would be soon, there are many more years stretching our before me!
