Flyer came through letterboxes in Marple Bridge area today. Despite how it looks, it's not a charity and seems to be trading illegally, see http://www.air-ambulance-scams.org.uk/ (http://www.air-ambulance-scams.org.uk/).
I've contacted Stockport Council trading standards, trading.standards@stockport.gov.uk to make them aware.

Never give to any of these so called charity bags as the "we give £60 per ton to xxxx charity" is such a con as the business that does the collecting gets anything from £600-£1100 per ton.
People get coned into thinking the charity on the front of the bag gets the lions share but its not the case.

We took our old clothes down to the Wellspring Charity just off the market place in Stockport. They were very grateful and we know they'll go to those who need them.
