Title: Chui's Chip Shop - Station Road / Stockport Road
Post by: alan@marple on September 25, 2010, 04:25:45 PM
Well I think it adds a bit of glamour to the area, perhaps soon we can have a few more takeaways then we can have our own Curry Mile, with a big sign, just like Wilmslow Rd in Rusholme.

Lowering what tone!!!?, a bit Tacky!, and Lisa is not snooty!.

If anything could be done to improve the" tone" of premises in Marple in would be to renovate that awful frontage of the Chip Shop
on the corner of Station Rd and perhaps put some blinds up to cover the store room at the side of the building

This topic has been split off from the Rose Hill Shop debate - Admin

Can i back up Alan re:the chippy at the bottom of Station Road?

Why can't they give it a lick of paint? I know there is a cost issue but literally 50 quid on tile paint and a day's labour - job done !

It's one of the 1st visual points peolpe see when entering Marple. It's depressing.

What's really depressing is that Chiu's is one of the establishments in Marple with one of the lowest possible food hygiene scores from Stockport MBC.

I never use it.
