Title: Marple Bridge : Town Street Stores refurb?

Has anyone heard what has happened to the old Spar shop in Marple Bridge?

Re closure of Spar shop at Marple Bridge.  Town Street Stores was convicted of selling alcohol without a licence and has now closed. This was reported by Inspector Brendon O'Brien at the last Marple Area Committee meeting.

The little supermarket in Marple Bridge, opposite the Royal Scot closed about a month ago for a refurbishment, according to the sign in the window.

Haven't seen any actual activity going on - has it closed down ?

This was answered in the Rose Hill Spar thread so I've done a bit of splitting and re-merging topics together and the earlier posts are now in this thread.
