Title: look a like ladybirds .

Some months ago someone posted on the forums about a lady bird having arived from the south of england . saying it was not a lady bird but some sort of clone type thing .can you please enlighten me further . as i have just been down to the cricket club to check things over .and in the score box in one corner .theres a mass of these things size of a football  . they look dead but could be waiting for the weather to improve .
